BAB to make new accreditation guideline
DHAKA, Dec 18, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) is going to make a new internationally recognised accreditation guideline for giving certificates to the interested local and multinational companies.
The information came today from an inauguration function of the “BAB Assessor Refresher Course” at the Industries Ministry Conference room in the city, said a press release.
BAB Director General M Monowarul Islam attended the function as the chief guest while senior officials of the accreditation board were present.
Monowarul Islam said BAB is working sincerely to build a world standard system in Bangladesh. The accreditation board has already accelerated the accreditation related activities following the guidelines of the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), he added.
