BAF helicopter makes emergency landing due to technical glitch

MOULAVIBAZAR, Jan 3, 2018 (BSS) – A helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was compelled to make an emergency landing due to technical glitch with 16 people in Srimongal, Moulvibazar this morning.

A total of 16 people, including two pilots – Wing Commander Omar and Flight Lieutenant Mehedi – managed to come out from the helicopter after the emergency landing of the copter which landed only 100 feet away from designated BGB helipad in Srimangal around 10:10 am, said a press release of Inter-Service Public Relation.

The helicopter flew from Tejgaon in the capital around 9:20 am, the release added.
