Russian human rights activist Lyudmila Alexeyeva dead at 91: official
MOSCOW, Dec 9, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Leading Russian rights activist and former
Soviet dissident Lyudmila Alexeyeva died at the age of 91 on Saturday, a
human rights official said.
“This is a huge loss for the entire human rights movement in Russia,”
Mikhail Fedotov, the head of the Kremlin’s human rights council, said in a
statement.
