3 killed in Ctg road mishaps
CHATTOGRAM, Nov 25, 2018 (BSS)- Three persons including a motorcycle rider
and a female garments worker were killed in two separate road accidents in
the city and district today.
In the first accident, a motorcyclist and his companion died on the spot
when their bike collided head-on with a tank lorry in Umtala area of Paindong
village under Fatikchhari upazila of the district at 4 pm, said Babul Akter,
officer-in-charge (OC)of Fatikchhari thana.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Earlier, a female garments worker Meherun Akter, 26, received serious
injuries when a passengers bus knocked her down in Milarmatha area under
Bondor thana at 7 am.
Locals brought her to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the
on-duty doctors declared her dead.
Separate cases were filed in these connections.
