a2i service tracker app launched in Fiji

DHAKA, Nov 23, 2018 (BSS) – Aimed at distributing social security
allowances among its marginalized people, south pacific island country Fiji
on November 21 launched a service tracker named Start to Finish (S2F) made by
access to information (a2i) programme of Bangladesh.

Made with the assistance from UNDP Bangladesh and UNDP Fiji, the service
tracker was launched at a function held in Nova, Fiji, an a2i release said.

Fiji’s Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Dr
Josefa Koroivueta inaugurated the tracker system.

Dr Koroivueta thanked a2i and UNDP Bangladesh for their role in making the
system.

UNDP Bangladesh Country Director Sudipta Mukherjee congratulated all
attending the inaugural function through a video message.

UNDP Fiji Official Andre Harington, a2i Chief Strategist (e-governance) Md
Farhad Jahid Sheikh, a2i local Development Specialist Md Pervej Hasan and
SoftBD Limited Chief Executive Officer Atikul Islam Khan attended the
programme, among others.
