Leathertech show kicks off Thursday
DHAKA, Nov 20, 2018 (BSS) – The sixth edition of a three-day ‘Leathertech Bangladesh 2018’ will begin from Thursday aiming to bring global technology at the doorsteps of the local industry to catalyse growth and modernisation.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed will inaugurate the trade show as the chief guest at the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) here, said a press release.
ASK Trade and Exhibitions Private Limited is organising the trade show.
Concurrently, the second edition of the ‘Bangladesh Leather footwear and Leather goods International Sourcing Show 2018’, organised by the Leather goods and Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB), will run at the same venue.
Over 300 exhibitors from 20 countries will showcase finished leather, machinery for tanning and manufacturing footwear and leather goods along with components, dyes and chemicals, accessories and allied products.
The expo would help the leather sector source the latest technologies and finished leather and develop compliance.
