Bam Ganatantrik Jote decides to join JS election

DHAKA, Nov 13, 2018 (BSS) – The Bam Ganatantrik Jote, a newly floated
alliance of left leaning political parties, has decided to join the 11th
parliamentary election to be held on December 30.

The alliance announced the decision at a press conference at Mukti Bhaban
here this morning.

Bam Ganatantrik Jote Coordinator and General Secretary of Communist Party
of Bangladesh (CPB) Md Shah Alam read out the written statement in the press
conference.

CPB President Mujahidul Islam Selim, Biplobi Workers Party General
Secretary Saiful Haque, Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal Central Committee
Member Bazlur Rashid Firoz, United Communist League Presidium Member Abdus
Sattar, Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (Marx) Manas Nandi, Gonosanghati
Andolon Chief Coordinator Zunayed Saki and Bangladesher Samajtantrik Andolon
Convener Hamidul Haque were present on the occasion.

Nomination aspirants of CPB are asked to submit their applications by
November 18.

The decision was taken at a meeting of CPB central committee at the party
office on November 11.

Earlier, the CPB has formed an 11-member nomination board headed by its
president Mujahidul Islam Selim to finalize the CPB nominees for contesting
in the 11th parliamentary election.
