Dhaka, Nov 10, 2018 (BSS)- Zimbabwe skipper Hamilton Masakadza said performance in the first Test really boosted the team and it would be a positive thing for the team prior to playing the second Test.

Visiting Zimbabwe will take on Bangladesh in the second and final Test scheduled to begin tomorrow (Sunday) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur.

He was speaking to the press at a pre match press conference held on Saturday at the conference room of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur.

“We know that they (Bangladesh) will be under big pressure after losing the first Test ….. for this reason I will remain confident in this match,” said the Zimbabwe captain.

He said the most important thing in Test cricket is to take twenty wickets and the same thing they would try to apply in the second Test.

Masakadza said as a team they would try to concentrate in winning the series which would be a big inspiration for the team.

Replying to a question, the Zimbabwe skipper said there would be hardly any major change in the team after winning the first test though Bangladesh would be hungry and desperate and try to fight back in the second match.

Masakadaza said they are expecting a competitive match against Bangladesh and they are also ready to play good cricket.

He said they have come here in search of a good outcome and if they are able to get the positive result it would be something great for the team.
