TOKYO, Nov 8, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Tokyo stocks opened higher on Thursday
following a rally in US shares after the US midterm elections produced no
major surprises.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index was up 1.58 percent or 348.68 points in
early trade, while the broader Topix index was up 1.46 percent or 24.08
points at 1,676.51.
