Drug peddler held, 1.1kg heroin seized in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Dec 23, 2017 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested an alleged drug peddler and seized 1.1 kg of heroin worth Tk 1.1
crore from Narendrapur Sujonpara village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila
early this morning.
The arrestee was identified as Md Momin, 32, son of late Saidur Rahman of
Chardurlavpur Pathalia village under the upazila.
Acting on a tip off, a team of RAB from Chapainawabganj camp raided
Narendrapur Sujonpara village at about 3:30 am and seized the heroin from
Momin’s possession, RAB officials said.
Later, he was handed over to police.
A case was filed with Sadar Police Station in connection with the
incident.
