Zimbabwe scores 85/2 at lunch on day 1 in 1st Test

SYLHET, Nov 3, 2018 (BSS) – Zimbabwe lost two early wickets as they scored 85 for 2 at lunch against Bangladesh on the first day of the first Test of two-match series at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

Taijul Islam picked up both the Zimbabwean wickets – Chari (13) and Brendon Tailor (6) early start of the innings.

Hamilton Masakadza with 52 and Sean Williams 13 were on the crease as the umpire removed the bails for lunch break.

Taijul Islam captured two Zimbabwean wickets conceding 43 runs.

Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bat first.
