RANGPUR, Oct 31, 2018 (BSS) – Minister for Primary and Mass Education
Advocate Mostafizur Rahman today stressed on ensuring quality education to
produce skilled and worthy citizen with patriotic zeal.
“The present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given top
priority to education sector and is giving new books to the students on the
first day of the New Year toward the direction,” he said.
The Minister said this while inaugurating the newly built academic building
of Fulbari GM Pilot High School at a cost of Taka 70.50 lakh on the school
premises in Fulbari upazila town of Dinajpur as the chief guest.
With Headmaster of Fulbari GM Pilot High School Tozammel Haque in the
chair, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdus Salam Chowdhury, President of upazila
Awami League Haider Ali Shah, its General Secretary Mushfiqur Rahman Babul
and Upazila Primary Educating Officer Hasina Bhuiyan addressed the occasion
as special guests.
The Minister said, “We must provide quality education to our children as
Bangladesh is changing every day side by side with the changing world on way
out to build a middle-income nation by 2021 and developed country by 2041,”
he said.
He said AL always believes in the politics of development and the present
government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has implemented massive
uplifts in last 10 years taking the nation on the development highway.
He urged the people to vote for symbol ‘Boat’ in next polls to bring AL to
power again for continuation of progress to build a developed “Sonar Bangla”
as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
