BSS journalist Quashemi passes away

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 31, 2018 (BSS) – Enamul Haque Quashemi, Bandarban
correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), died of brain stroke at a
city hospital here this morning.

He was 53.

Quashemi left behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and
well-wishers to mourn his death.

His namaj-e-janaza was held at local Eidgah Maidan in Bandarban this
afternoon.

Later, he was buried at Bandarban central graveyard.

State Minister for Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing
expressed deep shock at the death of journalist Enamul Haque Quashemi.

In a condolence massage, the state minister conveyed sympathy to members of
the bereaved family.

Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS)
Abul Kalam Azad expressed profound shock at the death of Quashemi.

He prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to
the bereaved family members.

Bandarban Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Abdul Kuddus, Municipality Mayor
Mohammad Islam Baby, former President of Bandarban Press Club Badshah Miah
Master and General Secretary Md Faridul Alam Sumon expressed deep shock at
the death of Quashemi.

Enamul Haque Quashemi had a long career in journalism. He started his
journalism career with the Daily News as a reporter.

He also worked in various media including the Jugantor, the Daily Azadi. He
was the vice-president of Bandarban Press Club.
