SANGSAD BHABAN, Oct 28, 2018 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Technical Education
Board Bill, 2018 was passed today in the parliament.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid moved the bill in the House which was
unanimously passed by voice votes with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the
chair.
Piloting the bill, the education minister said the proposed bill will enhance SSC
(Vocational) Dakhil (Vocational), BM and Diploma level all education, research under the
Technical Education Board.
He said the proposed bill would also create new entrepreneur and employment generation
through students having certificate from the board, which would help transform the
country into a developed state by 2041 through economic progress.
