Khaleda whitened black money during premiership: Hasan
DHAKA, Dec 19, 2017 (BSS) – Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today said BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and her family members had whitened black money during her tenure as prime minister.
“BNP chief Begum Zia and her family members earned huge illegal money and properties when she was in power and they siphoned off money abroad,” he said, speaking at a discussion at Jatiya Press Club auditorium here.
Bangladesh Swadhinata Parishad organized the discussion marking the Victory Day with its Advisor Zakir Ahmed in the chair.
Food Minister Advocate Kamrul Islam addressed the discussion as the special guest while AL South City Unit General Secretary Sahe Alam Murad, Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote General Secretary Arun Sarker Rana, Bangladesh Swadhinata Parishad President Md Zinnat Ali Zinnha and General Secretary Shahdath Hossain Toyel, among others, were present.
Kamrul urged all to remain alert against the fundamentalist forces, saying they are hatching conspiracy against the pro-liberation forces.
