Religious minister seeks vote for AL to continue country’s development

MYMENSINGH, Oct 13, 2018 (BSS) – Religious Affairs Minister Principal Matior Rahman today called upon the people to cast their vote in favour of Awami League (AL) in the next general election to continue the country’s current development trend.

He was addressing a discussion marking the 3rd founding anniversary of Mymensingh division at the local town hall’s Advocate Tareq Memorial auditorium.

Mymensingh Divisional Commissioner’s Office organised the discussion with Divisional Commissioner Mahmud Hasan in the chair. DIG of Mymensingh Range Nibas Chandra Majhi, Additional Divisional Commissioner Md Nurul Alam, Deputy Commissioner Dr Subhash Chandra Biswas, Zila Parishad Chairman Professor Yusuf Khan Pathan, district unit of AL President Advocate Jahirul Haque Khoka and city unit of AL President Ehtasemul Alam, among others, addressed the discussion.

The minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made Mymensingh, the country’s eighth administrative division which was demanded by the people of this region for long.

He extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for meeting the demand of the people of Mymensingh region.

Rahman urged the administrative officers to work with honesty and sincerity to ensure government services for the people.
