JSL leaders vow to build Bangabandhu’s ‘Sonar Bangla’

RANGPUR, Oct 12, 2018 (BSS) – Leaders of Jatiya Sramik League (JSL) here
today vowed for building the ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to ensure development and welfare of common
people.

They made the vow at a post-rally discussions organised by the district
unit of JSL at the Bangabandhu Square premises in the city in observance of
its 49th founding anniversary through various programmes.

The programmes included hoisting of the national and party flags, placing
wreaths at the portrait and mural of Bangabandhu, rally and discussion.

Earlier, a huge rally, participated by hundreds of leaders and activists
of the district unit of JSL, Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies, was
brought out from the district JSL its office in Betpotti area on the city
streets.

With district unit President of JSL Abdus Salam in the chair, General
Secretary of district AL Advocate Rezaul Karim Razu addressed the discussion
as the chief guest.

President of city AL Shafiur Rahman Shafi, its General Secretary Tushar
Kanto Mandal, Joint General Secretary of district AL Professor Mazed Ali Babu
addressed the discussion as special guests.

Moderated by General Secretary of district JSL Shahidul Islam, its Vice-
president ATM Farukul Islam and Publicity Secretary Nizam Uddin also
addressed the discussion.

Abdus Salam discussed the tremendous successes achieved by the present
government in last ten years under leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina
to build a middle income nation by 2021 and a developed country by 2041.

Advocate Rezaul Karim Razu called upon leaders and workers of JSL, AL and
its other associate bodies to further strengthen the hands of Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina to realise the dream of Bangabandhu by building a developed
Sonar Bangla.

He urged the leaders, workers and activists of AL and its associate bodies
to properly disseminate information of huge developments achieved by the
present government in last ten years to bring AL again into power through the
next general elections.
