DHAKA, Dec 9, 2024 (BSS) -Youth and Sports Adviser and National Sports Council chairman Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain today (Monday) announced cash reward of Taka fifty lakh for Bangladesh U-19 men's cricket team for becoming champions in the U-19 Men's Asia Cup for the second time in a row.
 
A press release of National Sports Council (NSC) informed in a circular signed by its Secretary Aminul Islam this (Monday) evening.
 
Defending champion Bangladesh defeated India by 59 runs in the final of the ACC U19 Men's Asia Cup final held in Dubai on Sunday last.
 
Earlier, the Sports Adviser has announced a cash reward of Taka 20 lakh for Bangladesh's U-21 hockey team who secured its place in the 2025 Junior Hockey World Cup by finishing fifth in the Junior Asia Cup held in Oman recently.
