DHAKA, Nov 29, 2022 (BSS) - The contribution of late journalist and columnist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury to journalism was remembered today at a reminiscence meeting here.
 
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen spoke as the chief guest at the meeting organized by Journalist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury Memorial Trust at the Jatiya Press Club.
 
Memorial Trust President and Former Food Minister Adv Qamrul Islam, Secretary General and Bhorer Kagoj Editor Shyamal Dutta, Secretary (West) of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shabbir Ahmad Chowdhury, journalist Zaglul's former colleagues and family members also spoke at the event marking the 8th death anniversary of the eminent journalist.
 
Speakers fondly remembered the late Chowdhury and recalled how promptly he could analyze crucial national and South Asian affairs.
 
Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury, former managing director of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, died in a tragic road accident on November 29, 2014, in Dhaka.
