RAJSHAHI, Nov 25, 2022 (BSS)- Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has accorded grand reception to six genius and prominent personalities as recognition for their laudable contribution to the nation-building process.

The awardees are: Chairman of Bangladesh Law Commission Justice ABM Khairul Haque, Law Commission Member Justice ATM Fazley Kabir, former governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr Atiur Rahman, Valiant Freedom Fighter Shahabuddin Ahmed, Valiant Freedom Fighter and Journalist Abed Khan and Educationist Prof Ratan Siddiqui.

RCC Mayor and Presidium Member of Bangladesh Awami League AHM Khairuzzaman Liton awarded the famous personalities through giving rapper, crest and honour-medal at a function held at the city bhaban green plaza today.

Vice-chancellor of Rajshahi University Prof Golam Sabbir Sattar, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Jalil, Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Abu Kalam Siddique, Director General of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Anjir Liton and journalist Rashed Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
