DHAKA, June 23, 2021 (BSS) – Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy falls at isolated places over the country.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to met office release here today.

The axis of monsoon trough runs through Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh. One of its associated troughs extends up to the North Bay. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over the North Bay.

Country’s maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35.0 degree Celsius at Dimla and Today’s minimum temperature 24.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Nikli.

Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00 am was recorded 35 millimeters(mm) at Chandpur.
