BNP-Jamaat clique must be kept out of power: Inu

RANGPUR, Sept 27, 2022 (BSS) - JASOD President Hasanul Haque Inu, MP, here today said the Razakar, Taliban, Jamaat and its political ally BNP and their clique must be kept out of power to ensure permanent peace in the country and protect the state.
 
"The state and people of the country are presently facing four dangers and threats. To protect Bangladesh and its people and ensure peace, the defeated pro-Pakistan anti-liberation forces and their allies must be kept out of power," he said.
 
The JASOD President, also a former information minister, said this while talking to journalists after inaugurating the party's Rangpur Divisional Representatives' Meeting-2022 on Town Hall premises in the city.
 
Later, Inu attended and addressed the meeting organized by JASOD Central Committee at Town Hall auditorium as the chief guest.
 
JASOD Central Committee Advisory Council Member Dr. Ekramul Hossain Swapan presided over the meeting, participated by district and city level leaders of different units from all eight districts in Rangpur division.
 
Inu, also chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Ministry, said the country and its people are currently facing dangers that have made people's life miserable and put the state under threat.
 
Narrating the dangers, Inu said the defeated pro-Pakistan anti-liberation forces of 1971, Razakar clique and their ally BNP are trying to form an unusual government in the name of movement in the country.
 
On the other hand, market syndicates have created sufferings of people by manipulating prices and looters are misappropriating and grabbing state resources and putting the country at risk through hooliganism and power abuse.
 
"To ensure permanent peace in the country, protect the state and save people from these dangers, Razakar, Taliban, Jamaat and its political ally BNP should be kept out of power," he said.
 
"Besides, market syndicates, looters of state resources, power abusers and hooliganism must be destroyed with bulldozers to save people from sufferings for permanent peace in the country," Inu said.
 
He said, "Election or democracy is not a problem for the Jamaat-BNP clique. They are currently plotting to establish an unusual Taliban-style regime."
 
"Drama of the BNP-Jamaat clique through movement is a clear conspiracy. Any attempt to form an unusual or Razakar-backed government will be resisted at all costs. We will never allow them to do this," Inu added.
 
General Secretary of JASOD Central Committee Shirin Akhter, MP, its Central Committee Organizing Secretary and General Secretary of Rangpur district JASOD Kumaresh Roy addressed the divisional representatives' meeting as special guests.
