All set to conduct SSC exam in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 14, 2022 (BSS) - The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and
equivalent examinations will begin in Chattogram on Thursday with sufficient
preparations.

Narayon Chandra Nath, controller of Chattogram Education Board (CEB), told
BSS that they have completed all and sufficient preparations to hold the
examinations in a peaceful atmosphere.

The authorities formed a special vigilance team to complete this examination
side by side strong preparations.

A total of 149,940 examinees will appear at the Secondary School Certificate
(SSC) examinations under Chattogram Education Board (CEB) this year.

The number of male candidates is 68,225 while 81, 487 female candidates
participated in the examination this year.

Compared to last year, the number of examinees in CEB has decreased by about
11,122. A total of one lakh 61 thousand 122 candidates participated in the
exam last year.

Control room has been opened for the convenience of students, the sources
added.

As many as 30,371 students from science group, 59,137 from humanities group
and 60,204 students from business administration group are scheduled to sit
for the examinations.

The students will participate in the examinations from 1,092 high schools
through 213 centres.

A total of 60 vigilance teams including eight special one consisting of
teachers and magistrates have been formed to check any sort of unfair means
or irregularities in the examination.
