CHATTOGRAM, July 1, 2022 (BSS) - Bangladesh Railway authorities here today 
started selling advanced tickets from July 5 for carrying home-bound 
passengers and their subsequent returns on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-
ul-Azha.

Ratan Kumar Chowdhury, Manager of Chattogram railway station, said they have 
taken stringent measures to check "black marketing of tickets" and to ensure 
safety for passengers.

Railway authorities here usually operate 10 trains from Chattogram every day.

The authorities started issuing advanced tickets for these 10 train routes 
from July 5 to July 9. 

The advance tickets are available from 8 am to 4 pm every day.

Apart from these, a number of special trains will operate before the day of 
Eid-ul-Azha for carrying Chandpur, Mymensingh and Cumilla-bound passengers 
from July 7 to July 9.
