GOPALGANJ, July 1, 2022 (BSS) - State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud 
Chowdhury today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh 
Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his mausoleum at Tungipara here. 

After laying a floral wreath at the shrine of Bangabandhu, he offered Surah 
Fatiha and took part a special munajat there seeking eternal peace of the 
departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs who had to embrace martyrdom 
on the fateful August 15, 1975. 

General Secretary of Gopalganj district unit AL Mahbub Ali Khan, Tungipara 
Upazila Parishad Chairman Solaiman Biswas, municipality Mayor Sheikh Tozammel 
Haque Tutul, AL leaders Babul Sheikh and Sheikh Siful Islam were present, 
among others.
