DHAKA, July 1, 2022 (BSS) - Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former Secretary of Economic Relations Division (ERD) Monowar Ahmed.

In a message of condolence, Kamal said, “Monowar was a talented, skilled and bright official while he had served the nation with honesty and sincerity. As an ERD Secretary, Monowar has discharged his duties with the development partners with integrity for protecting the interest of the country,”

The Finance Minister also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Monowar breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a hospital in New Delhi on Thursday  evening.
