DHAKA, May 25, 2022 (BSS) - Turkish Embassy here inaugurated global Turkish Cuisine Week in the capital with an exciting evening of culinary adventure hosted by Ambassador Mustafa Osman Turan at the embassy premises last evening.
 
Turkish Cuisine Week is being celebrated across the world with events where meals are prepared with creative presentations by Turkiye's world-famous cooks.
 
Turkish Cuisine Week is a manifestation of the vision to promote the richness of Turkish cuisine to a global audience.
 
In celebration, the Turkish Embassy here presented at a gala dinner titled Culinary Encounters by the Turkish Chef Levent Karahan who is now working with global chain Le Meridien here as executive Chef.

 
On the occasion, Turkish ambassador to Bangladesh Mustafa Osman Turan said Turkish Cuisine Week is the celebration of a culinary story articulated through the language of flavours to promote Turkish culture here to further increase people to people contact between Bangladesh and Turkey.
 
The cuisine week in Dhaka will end with a traditional Turkish breakfast at the Turkish Embassy residence on Friday.
