RAJSHAHI, May 18, 2022 (BSS)- Rajshahi University (RU) has signed a Taka 100-
crore wholesale house building loan deal with its corporate branch of Agrani
Bank Limited (ABL) today.

RU Treasurer Professor Obaidur Rahman Pramanik and Assistant General Manager
of ABL Bazlur Rashid signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides
at RU campus.

Vice-chancellor (VC) Prof Golam Sabbir Sattar, Pro-VCs Prof Chowdhury Jakaria
and Prof Sultan-Ul-Islam and Registrar Prof Abdus Salam, ABL General Manager
Shamim Uddin Ahmed and Deputy General Manager Mostofa-E-Kader were present
there.

Under the present fifth phase deal, teachers, officers and employees can
avail the scopes of getting house building loans at simple terms and
conditions and interests.

Earlier, 2,124 teachers, officers and employees received Taka 350 crore house
building loans under the previous four consecutive phases' agreements.
