SYLHET, Jan 26, 2022 (BSS) –A total of 28 student protesters at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) today stayed away from their hunger strike on the 13th day of the movement and on the 8th day of the hunger strike.

At the request of Mohammed Zafar Iqbal, a former teacher at SUST, students called off the strike as Zafar Iqbal assured them that their demands would be fulfilled with the help of upper level of the government.

Zafar Iqbal added that he came here while he received the news of upper level.

During the time, Zafar Iqbal’s wife Yasmeen Haque was also present there.
