MBBS, BDS admission 2025-‘26 on Dec 12

DHAKA, Dec 09, 2025 (BSS)- The admission test for MBBS and BDS courses for 2025-‘26 session will be held on December 12.

The exams will begin at 10:00 am across 17 centers and 49 venues in the country on the scheduled date.

Exam candidates must enter their examination halls between 8:00 am to 9:00 am carrying only a transparent bag containing a color-printed admit card, a transparent black-ink ballpoint pen, and their HSC or equivalent examination admit cards or registration cards. 

No other bags, mobile phones, calculators, electronic devices or watches will be allowed inside exam halls.

This year’s written admission test will consist of 100 MCQs based on the HSC or equivalent syllabus, with a total of 100 marks. 

The subject-wise distribution is: Biology 30, Chemistry 25, Physics 15, English 15, and General Knowledge, Aptitude and Human Qualities Assessment 15. 

The pass mark has been fixed at 40. Each correct answer carries one mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. 

The exam duration has been increased by 15 minutes to one hour 15 minutes.

In this 2025-‘26 academic year, government medical colleges have 5,645 seats with 5,100 for MBBS and 545 for BDS. 

Private medical colleges have 7,406 seats with 6,001 for MBBS and 1,405 for BDS.
A total of 1,22,632 candidates have applied for the MBBS and BDS admission test against 13,051 seats this year.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has urged all concerned not to believe any rumors about question paper leaks.
