CHATTOGRAM, Nov 23, 2021 (BSS) - Chattogram Medical College (CMC)
authorities have decided to reopen the institution on November 27 that has
been closed indefinitely after clashes between the two factions of students
on October 29 and 30 last.

    The authority has also decided to expel its 30 students for different
periods who involved with the clashes.

   The decision was taken at the meeting of the academic council of CMC on
Tuesday, said CMC principal Professor Dr Shahena Akhter.

   She told BSS that the authority has been decided to reopen the college
from 27th November.

   "Apart from this, the hostel will be opened soon but some more time is
being taken to open the hostel for the students," she said.

   She also said that 30 students have been expelled in different terms over
the incidents.
