Ctg board completes all preparation to hold HSC exams

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 21, 2021 (BSS) - Chattogram Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (CEB) has completed all preparation to hold the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations beginning from December 2 in a free, fair and peaceful manner.

A total of 10, 11,02 students including 49,981 male and 51,121 female will sit for the examination under CEB through 112 centers from 267 colleges this year.
 
A total of 20,360 students from science group, 36,589 students from humanities group and 44,144 from business administration are scheduled to participate in the examinations.  

CEB officials said they have completed almost all kinds of preparations to hold the public examinations in a free and fair manner.

Over 72 vigilance teams consisting of teachers and magistrates have been formed to check any sorts of unfair means or irregularities.

Narayan Chandra Nath, Controller of Examinations, Chattogram Education Board, said that HSC examinations will be held in three subjects this year due to Corona situation. The examination time for each subject has been fixed for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
   
Examinations scheduled in the morning will be held from 10 am to 11.30 am and those scheduled in the afternoon will be held from 2 pm to 3.30 pm.
