Dry weather likely

   DHAKA, Nov 19, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

  "Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country," said a Met Office release.

   It also said that the well-marked low over Southwest Bay and adjoining area intensified into a depression over the same area. It then moved west-northwestwards, crossed north Tamil Nadu - south Andhra Pradesh coast between Puducherry and Chennai by morning today.

   It is likely to move in a west-northwesterly direction further, weaken gradually and become unimportant. Trough of low lies over North Bay.

   Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release also said.

  Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded by 32.8 degree Celsius in Cox's Bazar and minimum temperature today was recorded by 13.8 degree Celsius in Tetulia.

   The sun sets at 5.12pm today and rises at 6.16am tomorrow in the capital.
