DHAKA, Oct 19, 2021 (BSS) - Light to moderate rain or thundershowers

accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur in different parts of
the country, a met release said today.

  Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at most places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka,
Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions and at many places over
Chattogram division with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over
the country, it said.

  Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

   The low over Telangana and adjoining area now lies over Madhya Pradesh and
adjoining area.

  South-west monsoon has withdrawn from northern part of Bangladesh. Monsoon
is active elsewhere over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.

   Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 34.1 degrees Celsius
at Kutubdia and minimum temperature today was 23.3 degrees Celsius at
Madaripur.

   Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00 am today was recorded 91
millimeters (mm) at Satkhira.

   Today's sunset at 5.29 PM and tomorrow's sunrise at 5.59 AM at Dhaka.
