DHAKA, Oct 12, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)

today predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over
the country.

  Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to
occur at a few places over Chattogram and Barishal divisions and at one or
two places over Khulna and Dhaka divisions, it said.

   Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country,
said a met office release.

  Trough of low lies over North-east Bay. Monsoon is less active over
Bangladesh and weak over North Bay.

  Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 37.2 degrees Celsius
at Sylhet and minimum temperature today was 22.1 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.

  Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00am today was recorded 52
millimetres (mm) at Kutubdia.

  Today's sunset at 5.35 PM and tomorrow's sunrise at 5.55 AM at Dhaka.
