DHAKA, Sept 28, 2021 (BSS) - Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin
Sharmin Chaudhury today said that the main philosophy of Prime
Minister Sheikh Hasina's politics is to implement the unfinished works
of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
"The main philosophy of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's politics is
to implement the unfinished works of Bangabandhu and put smile on the
face of every people in the country and that is why she has created a
strong base in every aspect of development," she said.
She was speaking as the chief guest at a doa-mahfil organized by
the Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad at the LD Hall of the Parliament House
on the occasion of the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working relentlessly to build a
hunger-free and prosperous digital Bangladesh, she added.
She said that after returning home on May 17, 1981, the Prime
Minister led the movement for the establishment of people's right to
voting, the struggle for the end of dictatorship, the restoration of
democracy lost through violation of the constitution and the struggle
for the establishment of human rights.
JS Chief Whip Noor-E Alam Chowdhury said that Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina has always been working for the betterment of the common people
and under her able management Bangladesh has graduated to developing
country from a least developed country.
Whip Iqbalur Rahim said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is
working to build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh as her main
goal is to bring smile on the faces of the people.
With Secretary to the Parliament Secretariat KM Abdus Salam in the
chair, the doa mahfil was addressed, among others, by Parliament
Members' Club General Secretary AB Tajul Islam, MP, Abdullah Al Jakob,
MP, Subarna Mustafa, MP, Zakia Parveen, MP, Abida Anjum Mita, MP,
Kaniz Fatema Ahmed, MP, Nargis Rahman, MP, Syeda Rubina Akter, MP, and
Jinnatul Bakia, MP.
