SSC, HSC exams to be held as per schedule: Dipu Moni

   DHAKA, Sept 28, 2021 (BSS) - Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said that the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations will be held as per the schedules announced by the government.

   "The exams will be held peacefully on time as per the schedules announced on Monday. I hope all will extend their cooperation in this regard," she said.

   The education minister said this while addressing a function marking the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Agargaon Mohila Polytechnic Institute in the city, said a press release.

   Speaking about the premier's birthday, Dipu Moni said, the Education Ministry has taken initiatives of plating saplings at the educational institutions by the students across the country to make Sheikh Hasina's birthday memorable.

  Later, she joined another function at Ganabhaban High School and planted a sapling there marking the birthday of the Prime Minister.

   Talking to reports after planting the sapling, the education minister said this year the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will not be held rather the students would be promoted to the next classes through the school exams.

   The JSC and JDC exams were also not held in the last year as the educational institutions remained shut since March 17 due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in the country.
