RAJSHAHI, Sept 26, 2021 (BSS) - Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) has 
provided intelligent scholarships to 23 children of its family aimed at 
inspiring them to study and acquire knowledge to make themselves worthy 
citizens.

  On behalf of the Inspector General of Police, RMP handed over the award 
titled "Bangladesh Police Intelligent Scholarship 2019" comprising crest, 
appreciation letter and honorarium at a function held at its conference hall 
today. 

  RMP Commissioner Abu Kalam Siddique accompanied by Additional Commissioners 
Sujayet Islam and Mazid Ali and Deputy Commissioners Rashidul Hassan and 
Sazid Hossain handed over the scholarship. 

  Speaking on the occasion, Abu Kalam Siddique said the scholarship will 
inspire and attentive the students to education which is important to take 
the nation forward successfully.

  He urged them to remain far away from drug-addiction, terrorism and 
militancy. He also told them many of the police family children are 
brightening the nation in different working fields and nation-building 
sectors.
