DHAKA, Sept 22, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has organised a joy rally congratulating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for achieving "SDG Progress Award" by the UN-sponsored Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).

     Leaders and activists of BCL, led by its central president Al Nahean Khan Joy and General Secretary Lekhak Bhattacharjee, brought out a procession from the premises of Dhaka University's Madhur Canteen this afternoon.

     After marching key points of the university, the procession was ended up with a short rally at the footstep of Anti-terrorists Raju Memorial Sculpture at Teacher-Student Center on DU campus.

     President of BCL Dhaka Metropolitan South unit Mehedi Hasan, General Secretary of BCL Dhaka Metropolitan North Saidur Rahman Hridoy leaders and activists of different units took part in the procession.

     The UN-sponsored Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) has conferred to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with "SDG Progress Award" for Bangladesh's steady course in responding to the universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure peace and prosperity for all.
