DHAKA, Sept 6, 2021 (BSS) - Police today detained nine leaders and

workers of Jamaat-e-Islami including its secretary general Mia Golam
Parwar.

   Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)'s Deputy Commissioner of Gulshan
Zone Md Asaduzzaman told BSS that nine Jamaat leaders and workers were
detained from a building in the city's Bashundhara residential area
this evening.

  They were involved in anti-state activities, the DC said.
