DHAKA, Jan 30, 2023 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today 
predicted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over 
the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am today.

"Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over river basins and adjoining 
area and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during 
late night till tomorrow morning," said a met office release here today.

However, night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain 
nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 30.4 degrees Celsius at 
Cox's Bazar, while the minimum temperature today was 11.9 degrees Celsius at 
Teknaf.

The sun sets at 5.43 pm today and rises at 6.41 am tomorrow in the capital.
