CHATTOGRAM, Jan 11, 2023 (BSS)-Chattogram University (CU) authorities have expelled a total of 18 students for different terms following several incidents of clashes and vandalism on the university campus.

The authorities suspended their studentship on Monday night after a meeting of the Board of Residence Health and Disciplinary Committee of the university, CU Proctor Dr Rabiul Hasan Bhuiyan, told the journalists today.

He said the CU authorities have expelled 18 students from different disciplines following the recommendations of the Disciplinary Committee of the university, as the authorities found proper proof of their involvement in various incidents of clashes, vandalism and harassment of journalists.
