RAJSHAHI, Oct 2, 2022 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-5, in an anti-crime drive, arrested an alleged top-listed firearms trader with three firearms in the district this afternoon.
 
The arrested person was identified as Asadul Haque, 45, son of late Shamsul Haque of Halidagachhi village under Charghat Upazila in the district, RAB sources said this night.
 
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in Khudra Jamira area in Belpukur Police Station in the metropolis around 5.30 pm and arrested the man.
 
The RAB team seized three one-shooter guns from his possession.
 
A case was filed with Belpukur Police Station in this connection and the arrested person along with the seized firearms was handed over to the police.
