NETRAKONA June 26, 2022 (BSS) - Speakers at a discussion today underlined the need for forging greater unity and solidarity among the pro-liberation forces to foil all the ‘evil designs and anti-state activities’ of the anti-liberation forces.

They demanded for publication of the lists of all the war-criminals including Razakers, who worked as collaborators of the then occupation Pakistani forces during the War of Liberation in 1971. They also demanded immediate trial of the anti-liberation forces including the Razakars.

Gatak Dalal Nirmul Committee (GDNC) Netrakona district unit organized the meeting on ‘Bangabandhu’s Ideology and Shaheed Jonony Jahanara Imam’s movement’ at Netrakona press club to mark the 28th death anniversary of Shaheed Janoni Jahanara Imam.

Vice President of Netrakona district Awami League Habibur Rahman Khan Ratan addressed the meeting as chief guest while convener of the GDNC Netrakona district unit Kashob Ranjan Sarker was in the Chair.

The meeting was conducted by the Member Secretary of the GDNC Netrakona district unit Shahinuddin Ahmed.

It was addressed, among others, by valiant freedom fighter and former commander of district Muktizoddha Sangsad  Haider Jahan Chowdhory, Executive Committee member of district Awami League Abul Monsur Ahmed, valiant freedom fighter Aiyub Ali, President of district communist party Nolini Ranjan Sarker, Vice President of Netrakona Public Library Advocate Abdul Hannan Ranjan and journalist Sanjoy Sarker.
