SHARIATPUR, May 26, 2022 (BSS) - Heifers and Vans were distributed among poor fishermen in Zajira upazila of the district today.

On the occasion, a function was held on Zajira Upazila Parishad premises this morning.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamrul Hasan Sohel, District Fisheries Officer Pranob Kumar Karmakar and Zajira Upazila Fisheries Officer Abul Bashar were present at the function, among others.

As many as 15 fishermen got heifer and van. Upazila Fisheries Department organized the function for heifer distribution under Hilsha Resources Development and Management Project.
