RANGPUR, May 25, 2022 (BSS) - The Detective Branch (DB) of Rangpur

Metropolitan Police (RpMP) arrested two alleged drug traders with 150 pieces
of Yaba tablets from Tajhat area in the metropolis on Tuesday night.
 
"On a tip off, an operational team of DB Police led by its Sub-inspector Md.
Nazmul Islam conducted a raid in the area and arrested them with the
contraband Yaba tablets at 22:45 pm," a press release said today.
 
The detainees were identified as Md. Monu Mian, 40, and Md. Sujan Islam, 26,
of Tazhat School Mour area under Tazhat police station in the metropolis.

 "After filing a case in this connection against the arrested persons under
the Narcotics Control Act 2018, the DB police handed them over to Tajhat
police station of RpMP," the release added.
