KHULNA, May 19, 2022 (BSS) - The first phase of updating voter lists will
begin on May 20 (Friday) in 15 upazilas and the city's three areas including
Daulatpur, Sonadanga and Sadar areas under Khulna City Corporation (KCC).

Election Commissioner (EC) Brigadier General (Retired) Md Ahsan Habib Khan is
expected to inaugurate the updating programme at Khulna Shilpakala Academy
auditorium as the chief guest in the morning.

According to the source of Khulna regional Election Office (REO), the
updating work will start in the KCC area on May 20 and will continue till
June 9.

Enumerators will visit door-to-door to collect information while the process
for taking photographs and scanning fingerprints would start there from June
10 and will continue till June 30 at the ward level voter registration
centres.
