CUMILLA, May 19, 2022 (BSS)- Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Limited, Cumilla zonal office disconnected about 1,800 feet illegal household gas connections at three villages in Jahapur union of Muradnagar upazila of the district today.

On information, a team of Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Cumilla office, led by executive magistrate and assistant commissioner (Land) Sumaiya Momin conducted the raid from 8am to 12noon at Nayakandi, South Dilalpur and Shushunda villages of Jahapur Union of the upazila and cut off 1,800 feet illegal gas lines.

Official of Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company and executive magistrate and assistant commissioner (Land) Sumaiya Momin said, a number of people without taking any permission from the authority connected these gas lines illegally in their houses.

The team also sealed off the source of delivery line and recovered pipes and other materials used for connecting illegal gas lines.
