RAJSHAHI, May 15, 2022 (BSS) - Three persons, including a mother and her baby, were killed as their two motorcycles collided head-on with a tractor adjacent to Aman Cold Storage on the Rajshahi-Naogaon highway under Paba Police Station in the district this morning.

Ataur Rahman, Warehouse Inspector of Naohata Fire Station, said the triangular accident occurred around 10.30 am killing two persons, including the baby, whose identity could not be known immediately, on the spot.

One of the deceased was identified as Abdul Hannan, 48, a resident of Manda upazila in Naogaon district.

Mother of the deceased baby succumbed to her injuries at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, while her husband is undergoing treatment there with grievous injuries, Atauur Rahman said.

Jahangir Alam, Sub-inspector of Naohata Police Station, said they recovered two bodies from the spot and are taking legal action in this regard.
