GAIBANDHA, July 18, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), Gaibandha unit, has been providing cylinders of oxygen to serious corona infected patients free of cost here.

BDRCS’s district unit secretary Rezaul Karim Reza said a total of 5 cylinders of oxygen were provided to the corona infected patients to mitigate their breathing difficulties till Saturday.

The activity is being conducted in cooperation with International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent.

The oxygen cylinders are being provided to the house of the patients by the volunteers formed by the unit office.

In addition, quality masks were also distributed to the poor and distressed people free of cost to halt the spread of coronavirus, said district unit chairman of BDRCS Ataur Rahman Sarkar.
